Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (DBRAU), Agra has released an official notification for 53 faculty vacancies. The university is inviting online applications for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor in different departments. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website www.dbrau.ac.in before 15 March 2026.
As per the notification (Advt. No. DBRAU/RW/2026/A01 to A25), a total of 53 posts are available, including 12 Professors, 16 Associate Professors, and 25 Assistant Professors. The vacancies are divided subject-wise and category-wise under SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and UR categories as per government rules.
The required qualifications, pay scale, and service conditions will follow UGC Regulations 2018, AICTE 2019, PCI notification dated 08 August 2022, and Uttar Pradesh State Government rules. Candidates must meet the essential qualifications and experience criteria mentioned in the advertisement. Applicants with a Ph.D. degree from foreign universities must provide an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi (except for MHRD scholarship candidates).
The online application process starts on 23 January 2026 and closes on 15 March 2026. Candidates must also send a hard copy of the application by 25 March 2026. The application fee is ₹3000 for General/OBC/EWS and ₹2500 for SC/ST candidates. Selection will be based on academic score, written test (for Assistant Professor), teaching assessment, and interview as per UGC norms.
