Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur has released an official notification for the recruitment of 54 Faculty posts. This is a good opportunity for candidates who have Postgraduate, M.Phil., or Ph.D. qualifications and are looking for a teaching job in a reputed state university. Interested and eligible candidates must apply online through the official website before the last date 10 March 2026.
As per the notification, a total of 54 vacancies are available, including 18 posts for Professor, 13 posts for Associate Professor, and 23 posts for Assistant Professor. Selected candidates will receive salary as per UGC pay levels. Professors will be paid under Level 10 (Rs. 15,600 – 39,100), Associate Professors under Level 13A (Rs. 37,400 – 67,000), and Assistant Professors under Level 14 (Rs. 37,400 – 67,000), along with other admissible allowances as per university rules.
For Assistant Professor posts, candidates must have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) along with NET/SLET/SET qualification or a Ph.D. as per UGC norms. For Associate Professor, applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree with a minimum of 8 years of teaching or research experience and required research publications. For Professor posts, candidates must have a Ph.D. with at least 10 years of experience, strong research background, and minimum required API score.
